Operational Risk Manager

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Development and implementation of operational risk management methodology, control of its adhering  
  • Development and maintenance of operational risk events register, ensuring completeness and quality of information reported
  • Administration of reporting module and ensuring required IT technical support, preparation of business requirements for necessary changed, participation in their testing and implementation  
  • Assessment of operational risk events, investigation of the root cause, identifying the real or potential loss, updating events’ statuses
  • Organizing and coordination of periodic risk & control self-assessment
  • Preparation of regular operational risk reports for the Bank’s management and the Group   
  • Responsible Secretary of Operational Risk Management Committee 

Requirements

Professional qualities

  • Higher education in economics/ banking
  • Fluent spoken and written English language
  • Excellent computer literacy (including good knowledge of Microsoft Office – Excel, Power Point and banking systems – core, card and others)
  • 4 years of banking experience, preferably in Operational Risk Management Unit, Methodology or Internal Audit 
  • Deep knowledge of banking processes, understanding of risk management and control functions
  • Knowledge of the main law requirements and best banking practices
