We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Data Analyst (Credit Risk) to join our Retail Risk Analytics, Modelling and Technology team on our journey to success. 


What You'll do:

  • Develop portfolio performance analyses and create effective risk management strategies for the retail portfolio
  • Design and implement new and/or existing analytical tools and processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness of the Retail Risk business
  • Perform data mining and quantitative analysis to support statistical modelling and data extraction functions
  • Ensure data accuracy and completeness by regularly reviewing data sources and identifying potential issues
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent and accurate data collection, analysis and reporting
  • Communicate findings and recommendations to senior management to support informed decision-making


Job requirements

What you’ll need to succeed:

  • 3 or more years of experience in a complex analyst role supporting statistical modelling and data extraction functions and/or methods
  • Experience in data mining, sourcing and quantitative analysis
  • In-depth knowledge and strong SQL skills
  • Knowledge of SAS, Python and Power BI would be an advantage
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail
  • Strong self-motivation and ability to work well in a team environment
  • Banking experience would be an advantage
