If so, we're looking for a Bancassurance Business Owner to join our team on the journey to success.

The Bancassurance Business Owner will be responsible for developing, launching, and scaling insurance monetization initiatives across all retail banking markets of tbi bank. This includes maximizing the value of the lending funnel and customer database through cross-sell and upsell of associated insurance products, as well as establishing and expanding a stand-alone insurance business line. The role requires strong business acumen, executional drive, and deep understanding of retail banking, insurance, and customer lifecycle management.


What you’ll do:

  • Define and lead the insurance monetization strategy across all retail banking markets

  • Identify and prioritize opportunities to grow insurance revenues from lending products and the wider customer base

  • Design stand-alone insurance propositions tailored to customer needs in different markets

  • Drive development and integration of insurance offerings within the retail lending funnel

  • Oversee partnerships with insurers and other third parties to ensure competitive, compliant, and customer-centric product design

  • Build and manage partnerships with insurers and third parties to ensure competitive and compliant product design

  • Ensure smooth distribution of insurance products across digital and branch channels

  • Define and monitor KPIs for insurance monetization (penetration, revenue contribution, retention)

  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, product, risk, and operations teams for effective execution

  • Share and scale best practices across markets, adapting to local needs and regulations

  • Manage P&L responsibility for the insurance business line

  • Use customer data and insights to drive targeted offers, cross-sell, and upsell

  • Monitor competitive landscape and regulatory requirements in each market

  • Ensure champion customer experience and long-term value in all insurance activities

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks


Job requirements

What you’ll need to succeed:

  • Bachelor’s in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Insurance, or related field

  • 3+ years of experience in retail banking, insurance, or financial services with strong P&L and business ownership exposure

  • Track record of successfully launching and scaling financial products across multiple markets

  • Strong understanding of bancassurance, retail lending, and customer monetization strategies

  • Fluency in English; additional languages from tbi bank markets are an advantage

  • Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional leadership skills

  • Data-driven mindset with ability to balance commercial targets and customer experience

  • Willingness to travel across operating geographies

  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills

  • Analytical approach, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects

  • Team player with a proactive attitude, problem-solving mindset
