If so, we're looking for a Database Administrator to join our team on the journey to success!

What You’ll do:

  • Manage and administer enterprise database systems across on-premises (MSSQL Server) and cloud (Azure SQL) environments, ensuring high availability, performance, and data integrity

  • Monitor database performance, identify and address performance bottlenecks, and optimize queries for enhanced efficiency

  • Oversee database security by implementing access controls, encryption, and regular security audits

  • Handle database backups, disaster recovery, and ensure data integrity through routine maintenance and testing

  • Collaborate with software developers to design and implement database structures that support application functionality

  • Participate in capacity planning, resource utilization analysis, and growth projections for future database requirements

  • Respond to and resolve database-related incidents and outages in a timely manner

  • Support data migration efforts across environments (on-premises to Azure, version upgrades, consolidations)

  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of database configurations, schemas, procedures, and runbooks

Job requirements

What you’ll need to succeed:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related technology field is preferred

  • 3+ years of experience in Database Administrator roles in production environments

  • Relevant certifications in database administration (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator Associate, Oracle Database Administrator Certified Professional) are a plus

  • Experience in database performance tuning and troubleshooting

  • Proficiency in database administration with a strong focus on MSSQL

  • Solid understanding of database architecture, design principles, and query optimization

  • Knowledge of database security best practices and implementation

  • Familiarity with backup and recovery strategies and disaster recovery planning

  • Basic knowledge for Oracle, and Postgres administrations are a plus

  • Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools

  • Experience working in regulated industries (financial services, telco) is a strong plus

  • Understanding of high availability and replication technologies

  • Professional-level English - written and verbal; daily collaboration with teams is in English

  • Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex technical issues
