If so, we're looking for a Head of Data Governance to join our team on the journey to success!

What You’ll do:

• Define and lead the enterprise-wide Data Governance strategy and roadmap across Bulgaria, Romania, and Greece

• Establish and maintain governance frameworks, policies, standards, and accountability models (Data Owners & Data Stewards)

• Drive enterprise Data Quality, metadata management, data catalog, lineage, and KPI standardization initiatives

• Ensure compliance with GDPR, EU AI Act, banking regulations, and enterprise security standards

• Collaborate with Business, Data, Risk, Compliance, and Technology teams to align governance with enterprise architecture and transformation initiatives

• Lead governance councils, stakeholder engagement, and organizational adoption of Data Governance practices

• Establish governance processes for data risk management, issue resolution, and maturity assessment

• Support automation and scaling of governance capabilities through tools such as Microsoft Purview, Collibra, or similar platforms

What you’ll need to succeed:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Engineering, or related field

• 8+ years of experience in Data Governance, enterprise data transformation, and regulated industries such as banking or fintech

• Hands-on experience designing and implementing Data Governance frameworks in complex organizations

• Experience with modern cloud data ecosystems and governance tools (Snowflake, Azure, Power BI, SnapLogic, Purview, Collibra, etc.)

• Strong understanding of SQL, data management, GDPR, EU AI Act, and banking regulations

• Familiarity with AI/ML governance and banking systems such as AML, fraud, lending, or collections platforms

• Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills with the ability to drive strategic initiatives across international environments

• Relevant certifications such as CDMP, TOGAF, COBIT, or DGSP are considered an advantage
