If so, we're looking for a System Administrator to join our team on the journey to success!

What You’ll do:

  • Perform day-to-day operational tasks to ensure that the servers and the virtual environments are operating appropriately, be available to support the business needs, and any operational issues are proactively resolved

  • Create server configurations and server deployment, perform upgrades and patching to operating system and security software, create and update system documentation, and respond to escalated end-user requests

  • Be responsible for assisting in the development of service capacity, availability, and demand management plans for the assigned systems and for the development of the business continuity and disaster recovery plans that are needed to support the business and process operations

  • Provide operational support for servers running Windows Server and Linux operating systems

  • Undertake design and administration of Active Directory and ensure policy enforcement

  • Operate and maintain virtual environments (Hyper-V/Vmware) and backup technologies

  • Implement disaster recovery

  • Proactively monitor systems, report/and troubleshoot issues

  • Perform system changes such as software deployments and upgrades

  • Design, implement and maintain comprehensive infrastructure monitoring and alerting solutions to ensure high availability and performance across physical, virtual, and cloud environments

  • Analyze historical monitoring data and log trends to support capacity planning, root cause analysis (RCA) for critical incidents, and continuous infrastructure optimization

  • Implement and maintain infrastructure security baselines and collaborate with the security team to remediate vulnerabilities discovered during audits or scans

Job requirements

What you’ll need to succeed:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

  • 4+ years of experience in a similar role

  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Windows Server administration, including installation, configuration, maintenance, and support of all Windows Server versions

  • PowerShell scripting and task automation

  • Hands-on experience with Linux distributions like RHEL, Debian and etc. administration, including installation, configuration, maintenance, and support

  • Strong understanding of TCP/IP networking concepts and protocols

  • Experience managing Active Directory environments, including administration of forests and domains, object creation and management, Group Policy (GPO) configuration and troubleshooting, as well as PKI and DNS infrastructure management within Active Directory

  • Experience with Active Directory migrations is considered a strong advantage

  • Familiarity with virtualization technologies such as Hyper-V and/or VMware, including experience creating, managing, and supporting virtual machine environments

  • Hands-on experience with enterprise backup and recovery solutions and proven experience in executing Disaster Recovery scenarios

  • Solid understanding of enterprise server hardware and storage technologies (SAN, NAS, Fiber Channel, iSCSI)

  • Experience with Microsoft Exchange and Microsoft 365 / Office 365 administration

  • Fluency in English - both written and spoken

  • Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex technical issues
