Do you want to play a key role in our unique success story?

As Chief Architect, you will be the bank's highest architectural authority, working directly with the Chief Technology Officer to define and govern our enterprise technology architecture.

You will create the strategic technology roadmap, establish architecture standards and governance, and ensure that every major technology investment moves the organization closer to its target architecture.

This is a highly strategic role with enterprise-wide impact, requiring strong leadership through influence, exceptional communication skills, and deep technical expertise across modern banking technologies.

What You’ll do:

• Define, maintain, and evolve the bank's technology architecture

• Develop the target technology architecture and multi-year transformation roadmap.

• Lead architecture governance, standards, and best practices across the organization.

• Chair the Architecture Review Board and oversee key technology decisions.

• Drive legacy modernization and technology simplification initiatives.

• Partner with Engineering, Product, Security, Risk, and Business leaders to ensure architectural alignment.

• Evaluate emerging technologies and strategic technology partners.

• Provide executive leadership with trusted architectural guidance on investments, technology risks, and long-term technology strategy.

• Build alignment across Platform and Domain Architects while fostering a collaborative architecture community

What you’ll need to succeed:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field

• 12+ years of experience in technology, including at least 5 years in Enterprise Architecture, Chief Architect, or a similar strategic architecture leadership role

• Proven track record of designing and implementing enterprise architecture across complex organizations and leading large-scale modernization and legacy transformation initiatives

• Experience within banking, fintech, payments, or another highly regulated industry is strongly preferred

• Strong expertise in Enterprise Architecture, Distributed Systems, Microservices, Event-driven Architecture, API Strategy & Integration, Cloud Architecture (preferably Azure), Kubernetes, Container Platforms, CI/CD, DevOps, Data Architecture, Analytics, AI/ML enablement, and Security Architecture, including Identity & Access Management

• Practical experience with architecture frameworks and modeling methodologies such as TOGAF, ArchiMate, or C4 Model is considered an advantage
