If so, we're looking for a Legal Advisor, Litigation to join our team on our journey to success!
What You'll do:
Represent the Bank in litigation proceedings initiated against the Bank before courts of all instances and other competent authorities;
Prepare, review, and submit legal documents, including statements of defense, motions, appeals, and other court filings;
Develop and implement litigation strategies aimed at protecting the Bank’s legal and financial interests;
Attend court hearings, procedural meetings, and negotiations on behalf of the Bank;
Analyze claims, legal risks, and case documentation related to disputes against the Bank;
Coordinate with internal departments to gather evidence, documentation, and factual information relevant to ongoing cases;
Monitor legal deadlines and ensure timely handling of all procedural actions;
Provide legal opinions and recommendations regarding ongoing and potential litigation matters;
Manage communication with external counsels, experts, and regulatory authorities when required;
Prepare regular reports, case updates, and risk assessments for the Bank’s management;
Maintain accurate records and reporting regarding the status and outcome of litigation cases
Job requirements
What you’ll need to succeed:
University degree in Law
Successful completion of the exam administered by the Ministry of Justice to practice in Bulgaria
Fluency in English, both written and spoken
Previous experience on a similar role in litigation process
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
